Caring For Your Mind

Expert Therapy For Your Mental Well Being

Welcome

Hi, I’m James Weir (MNCPS), a qualified psychotherapist and coach with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

I offer online therapy and coaching for young people, men, and women who are experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and general wellbeing issues.

My approach combines therapeutic support with practical coaching techniques to help clients build confidence, resilience, and lasting emotional balance.

I also provide guidance for parents and guardians, helping them better understand and support the emotional and developmental needs of their children.

With over 20 years of experience working with young people — from counselling roles to serving as a football coach for Buckinghamshire County Council and a volunteer counsellor with Youth Concern — I’ve developed a deep understanding of the pressures faced by both young people and their families.

Having spent more than 25 years in the construction industry, I’ve also seen first-hand the emotional strain men often experience due to work and family pressures. My goal is to challenge the stigma around men’s mental health and create an open, supportive space where both men and women feel comfortable exploring their feelings and working toward positive change.

For clients under 18, parental consent is required to ensure the best care possible. Home visits can be arranged if needed.

I look forward to supporting you through therapy and coaching on your journey toward better mental health and wellbeing.

Client Feedback

Real stories, real change.

S

I remember my first session with James, I thought he was going to be just another therapist, these nothing he's going to do to help me, you name a counselling organisation I've been there and they all sound the same.

I was 14 years old, diagnosed with ADHD, I didn't want to be at school, always getting into some sort of trouble, was drinking and taking drugs on a daily bases, didn't want to be at home, I'm always fighting with my mum and older sister,

there was many days I wanted to die.

I'm very thankful to have meet James, he change my life I will never for get how he helped me help myself.

two years later from our first session, I'm now enjoining collage, I can see what I want to achieve out of life, I hardly have a drink anymore, I've not taking any drugs for over two months now and don't want to, my mum, me and sister are finally getting on and laughing together.

James helped me understand my anxiety better, and I feel more in control now.
